View Full Version : Am I ready for Vista ?

Can anyone tell me wheter i can install vista OS on my Intel 865GbF board?:(

I have a Geforce FX5200 card and 1 Gb of RAM.
I dont have a sound card separately.
Has anyone installed on this config,please share ur experience on this thread:frusty: .

you should be fine, but be careful which crack you use. The earlier activation cracks had issues with working on some chipsets.

I worked for Best Buy during the Vista launch. There were several computers that were much slower than that running it just fine. Just disable UAC and some of the graphical options and it will run without a hitch.

Have just checked and i can get vista , and have jst been Vaio website and i can get a free upgrade to Vista Home premium, is it worth me doing?

i wiped my xp and put on vista just for kicks, i was expecting problems, and other then needing to find my own updated video driver, everything has been fine for about 3 weeks now. I recommend upgrading as long as most of your apps are compatable.
