What do do think is the most important part of a band, guitar, singer, bass, drum, keyboard, rythm guitar!

you need most of them but a rythm guitarist can be done buy a good lead, drums could be done by keyboards etc etc!

So which is the driveshaft of a band???

Jonno B) Baz :D

Yeah, i agree, except.... ...you know...

Songs without guitars are ok, but they tend to suck, from my point of view. :P

if your band sucks, you need a good producer+video director+marketing

I am surprised no one has given the answer, IMO the most important things in a band are cannabis&alcohol. :D

I find the higher these levels the better the music.

i mean ok, more cannabis makes them play better music, but not more alcohol. that makes them walk and shout around like louts.

the best live performances are from artists off their bollocks on sumthin, right ?!!

The most important are always Composers / Songwriters...does not matter which instrument they play ;)

If a song sux, there's no instrument nor look nor video nor anything else that can turn it into a masterpiece... ...but if the song is great, then you can perform it with different arrangements and using the instruments you prefer...unplugged, with or without drums, with a simple guitar strumming basic chords, with an old piano out of tune...you say what.. :P
