Fresh Dubya
The first part of your question is that -- is whether or not the weapons of mass destruction question.
-- St. Petersburg, Russia, Jun. 1, 2003

I invited the President to come to the United States for a visit in September to visit at Camp David.
-- St. Petersburg, Russia, Jun. 1, 2003

I've got very good relations with President Mubarak and Crown Prince Abdullah, and the King of Jordan, Gulf Coast countries.
-- Dubya gets a little bit confused geographically, confusing the Persian Gulf (Qatar, Bahrian) with the Gulf Coast (Texas, Florida), with reporters, May 29, 2003

Listen, we'll answer two questions a side, alternating. Please address -- so don't -- one of these things where you ask me and ask the Prime Minister, or vice versa. Let's just ask one question to one of us as we rotate back and forth, if you don't mind.
-- Doing a bang-up job of orchestrating the joint press conference with Japanese PM Koizumi, Crawford, Texas, May 23, 2003

On the threat from North Korea's nukyular program, the Prime Minister and I see the problem exactly the same way. We will not tolerate nukyular weapons in North Korea. ...We will not settle for anything less than the complete, verifiable, and irreversible elimination of North Korea's nukyular weapons program. ...At talks held in Beijing last month, China called on North Korea to renounce nukyular weapons... The issue of North Korea's nukyular weapons is a grave challenge to entire world. We will not at all tolerate the possession, the development or the transfer of nukyular weapons by North Korea. North Korea must promptly and completely dismantle all nukyular weapons development programs in a verifiable manner. ...It is extremely important for Japan to comprehensively resolve the various issues, including nukyular weapons. ...Acceptance by the international community and potential help will come when [the North Koreans] change their behavior and their attitude toward nukyular weapons. ...Then we will have the Japanese and South Koreans join the dialogue so that there's now five of us sitting around the table, all discussing how to see that the Korean Peninsula is nukyular-weapons-free. ... And the importance of this meeting today should say to the world that Japan and the United States stand shoulder-to-shoulder on the issue of North Korea's nukyular weaponry.
-- This one is self-explanatory, Crawford, Texas, May 23, 2003

I look forward to signing the economic recovery bill soon. The principle of the bill is pretty simple, that we believe the more money people have in their pockets, the more likely it is somebody is going to be able to find work in America. In other words, the more money somebody has, it means somebody is more likely to demand a good or a service, which means somebody will produce a good or a service, which means somebody is likely to find work.
-- Sounds like sound economic theory to me, Washington, D.C., May 22, 2003

President [Arroyo] and I also reviewed the developments with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front -- MLIF. That group must abandon the path of violence.
-- Even if called by the wrong acronym, White House, May 19, 2003

First, let me make it very clear, poor people aren't necessarily killers. Just because you happen to be not rich doesn't mean you're willing to kill.
-- Presenting common sense as if it were something to be noted, but I guess it's a good thing that he knows this, White House, May 19, 2003

REPORTER: And about the MILF -- your offer of assistance in the MILF problem...
DUBYA: Well, my offer of assistance, it depends upon the MLIF choosing peace as a peaceful reconciliation of issues. If they continue to want to use terror and force, we will be involved to the extent that the President invites us to be involved, within the constitution of the Philippine government.
-- Dubya's sticking to his acronym, come hell or high water, White House, May 19, 2003

The [military] academies are really important for a lot of reasons. Obviously, what you learn on the football field is even more important since we're still at war.
-- That just plain doesn't make sense, Washington, D.C., May 16, 2003

What you -- the character you displayed in your drive to be the best will serve our nation well. Because we're still at war. We learned that lesson in Saudi Arabia the other day. An al Qaeda -- a group we think is al Qaeda killed innocent life just for the sake of killing them.
-- Wow, that doesn't make sense, either, Washington, D.C., May 16, 2003

I have found the President to be an easy man to talk to. He expresses opinions very clearly and it's easy to understand.
-- Expressing relief about his ability to keep up in his conversations with President Roh of South Korea, Washington, D.C., May 14, 2003

Al Qaeda is a group of people that they don't care about taking innocent life.
-- Educating the media pool, May 13, 2003

These despicable [suicide attacks] were committed by killers whose only faith is hate. And the United States will find the killers, and they will learn the meaning of American justice.
-- Dubya failing again to understand that suicide bombers can't be caught and brought to justice, you know, because they're dead and everything, CNN, May 13, 2003

If those killers, those criminals believe that their bloody criminal acts will shake even one hair off the body of our nation and its unity, then they are deceiving themselves.
-- See above, CNN, May 13, 2003

Dubya's level of lingual creativity and rigorous intellectual coherence is a daily inspiration.

But what can you expect from a man who's favorite reading is a childrens book published while he was in college? ;)

Yesterday, Jim Hoagland, Washington Post pundit and sometimes apologist for the Bush administration, had the temerity to imply that even if Bush had distorted the intelligence he was given by the government intelligence community in order to further his war agenda for Iraq, and even if the media was too willing to go along with the Bush agenda rather than carefully looking at the evidence, he had faith in the intelligence of the American citizens to discern what is truth and what is lie, and act accoringly.

I would be satisfied if he would only learn the correct pronunciation of the word "NUCLEAR". :(

As to the rest, perhaps you pundits should pursue an amendment delineating and defining what would constitute an acceptable level of presidential glibness, to be determined during the pre-election debating period.

As it is, you should consider yourselves lucky; without his lingual difficulties, you would have nothing to carp about.

Serve, volley, volley, volley, volley, volley, volley, volley, volley, volley....point! :P

Should his ineptitude end at "lingual difficulties" you would be correct.
Alas, it does not.

We shall see.

I would have much preferred an image of Serena, Clocker-she's got few more "horsepower" than big sis just now. B)

Off to work now.

Yes she does.
I was saving Serena for the time that a serious volley managed to come my way.

She'll keep. :P

Upon reflection I now think that I wasted Venus in the previous post. Poor field management, I know.
I'm substituting this one for her now...
