Metallica Launching Free Mp3 Download Site?

Apparantly Metallica are putting hundreds apon hundreds of thier live performances/raraties/b-sides online free to download from www.metallicavault.com (http://www.metallicavault.com) when the album is released. I think that would be quite a turn arround from the whole napster thing.

I also read that. The only way to be eligible for this is to buy the album. Inside the album cover there will be a number or something that will give you access to the vault. This is on the Metallica.com web site. This sounds like another cool idea. It really sounds like they are really pulling out all the stops to get people to buy this album. offering all of those video downloads, plus the DVD that comes with the CD. :D
