http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v383/Hairbautt/News%20Images/UbuntuLogoHR.pngFeisty fawn has finally been released and has hit the mirrors.

This is the latest and greatest version of ubuntu which doubles as a live cd so even if you only fancy trying it but not installing it then this is for you.

The mirrors are swamped and the official site is overloaded so expect a bit of a wait or grab the torrent here (http://releases.ubuntu.com/7.04/ubuntu-7.04-desktop-i386.iso.torrent)

Hoho, I wanna' try it.

I wonder if one will be able to order some discs from the main site, like we could before, once the main site is up again :smilie4:

I ordered a bunch a while ago, and those have seen plenty of use.

I've even given a couple away to teachers at uni who hadn't tried linux.

Ubuntu 7.04 really is amazing. I am now running uTorrent under Linux via Wine! Restricted Drivers are one click away plus Windows Migration Tools. I really am impressed. Oh, and did I mention the fun I've had with Beryl? :D

Damn, I've been waiting for this since I screwed up my linux partition and GRUB and had to wipe it...and of course I miss the release date.
