You're nearly 500 miles away

I think the thing I like about you most is that you're always joking

Why, I automatically record all my calls. Just in case I need to replay them later. The answering machine is set to do it automatically.

Yup, that's me at a car show. It was about 8 or 9 years ago tho'.

The hair has changed rather dramatically since then.

Right.

Like Scotch people smile.

I think he originally hails from Wales. So there.

Chip Monk

It's more of a smug grin.

*ignores harsh Welsh taunt.

I think his non-Scotch Celtic roots pertain more toward Ireland.

Anyway, I think the non-smiling nature of the Scotch is more to do with environmental factors, rather than any genetic predisposition -- there's just fuck all to smile about up there :dabs:

All Grandparents Irish . Which fills me with the craic and a tendency to grin smugly.

I was actually trying to look American in that phoatie, I think I pulled it off.

..sigh, another one of those egocentric threads... I think, because I recognise some of the same qualities, in myself.

... I was going to say, at this moment in time, the threads here when manker and JPaul get warmed up...

Chip Monk
04-19-2007, 01:37 PM
I just thought I'd start one of those threads where people ask "what's your favourite..." and since people here constantly seek external validation I thought I'd parody that as well and make it about me. It's a sort of double satire thing

And also there are hunners of wee laddies wishing they had the spunk to start a thread like this, about themselves like. So I thought I'd lead by example. That's the kind of chap I am.

manker

Haven't I already proven with words that you sought external validation from we.

I did, I remember it distinctly.

Barbie should so find that post :smilie4:

I think most Scottish people hate being referred to as being Scotch.

I was going to say that a lot of what you do here I find worth taking some time to read..does that clear it up?

yes I like your threads...I don't subscribe to them yet

this is an example you see, so I could add this thread to the "manker JPaul" subscription list, after all :D

Did you phone them or something?

Mr JP Fugley

They are just part of the Chebus Heard, doing his bidding.

No this is obvious. This is a flagrant example of a user taking advantage of the subconscious "halo effect" and using you as bait, to get users to subscribe to his thread.

How's that about Chip. You self-absorbed bar steward.

your avatar is cool.

he looks dorky and shit, and the way he's smiling makes me happy.

edit: no wait, come to think of it the title was asking my favorite thing. um, my favorite thing about you is probably the fact you are so calm and sensible, even when bothered by something. i tend to be the opposite way, when i am bothered by something. that is assuming, that jp is the main poster under that account.
