Just a question.. I mean.. TBytes, HDbits, NB.. BitMe, Swebits, is it like a fashion or something?

I would assume that it is because of the source is called Torrentbits

I think it is because Bits and Bytes are common words in torrent world... like seed, leech, tracker,file, Scene and so on....
I am more wonder to those tracker names like e**go, Nordic, T**rs, Oink and etc... Why they come up with those names..:D

yeah, I've often wondered the same thing. I actually prefer the name that don't use such common lingo.

Well when you download/upload your actually exchanging bits and bytes with other users so maybe thats why they like those names so much in their addresses.
I think once one site users a specific word and other people see it used and think its a cool site they often try and use the same word to make their sites seem cool like the other sites as well ;)
I personally like the sites that come up with their own original names.
