Hey, I've been wondering what the purpose of the "donate" button is on the torrent's page. Here's what it looks like

I clicked it and it took that amount away from my upload, but what is it's purpose?

It means you give him 1GB or 500MB of your upload credit and put it onto his account :) So kind of you.

LOL. I was just curious, so I clicked. That's a bunch of BS if you ask me. He's an uploader, why would he need donations? (unless he's an even more compulsive downloader ;))

Yeah, I think you're right. Well, the fact that I didn't have to sell my soul to get it is at least one redeeming factor. I traded an account that I had no intention of using after I saw it's contents. And I didn't trade here with all of the extortionists.
