Is ZWT crooked?

I just watched a youtube video about spyware that ZTW cracks install. Take a look

I tried this out with the photoshop cs3 keygen from ZWT and here's what I didn't see anything added to program files, but I did see that it did something to my AV.

I reinstalled avast, scanned my HDD and it found nothing. I then reran the keygen to look for avast changes, but didn't see any atempts at avast this time.

I wonder if the one in the video is a copycat. The icon was not ZWT's logo.

Bullshit. Crack was infected by distributors, not by ZWT.
And btw all those scary calls to CreateFile function you can see in the clip are used not to create files, but to open them. THe whole thing looks like "by downloading pirated software you are downloading communism"

it's some idiot spreading propaganda. ZWT wouldn't be putting out releases as long as they have, if any of their files contained viruses or malware.

The programs / stuff they use means the .exe cracked is packed with something which can come up as a virus / trojan whatever.

I remember reading it in an NFO.. And as teh person above said, they wouldent of released for years if there stuff had virus would they :P

I understand, all that has been said. I understand that th exe does need to extract itself and also access libraries, but I don't know why it made changes to on of avast's dll's.

I really didn't see or heard about any group infects their releases with Viruses, it's in fact that the warez sites which probably do such thing, ZWT, SSG, XISO, etc ... all of them are a well respected groups earned it by their continues great work

To be honest its probably some antip2p scene group trying to spread misinformation. If they did include viruses or whatever in their cracks all their releases would get nuked and they be scenebanned rather quickly.

wow, I watched that second one and KNEW it was fake when they said the serial generated doesn' work. I've been using stuff by ZWT for a LONG time and has never failed me! They made license files for like EVERY 2007 piece of autodesk software released! They are awesome!
