I am not a member in sweDVDR and before I make any unworthy trade, is there anything exclusive there, that cannot be found in TL, Pisexy etc?

Or they just keep seeding the usual DVD scene releases a little bit longer?

They have some rare stuff also.

The speeds are amazing and every DVD-R you can think of is almost there so it's the DVD-R heaven on earth :D

OK thanks, just one further clarification:

Most DVD-Rs there are scene Nordic releases?

Because I am not Scandinavian and if this is the case it will be useless to me.

SweDVDR includes close to only PAL/NORDIC DVDRs! There are almost zero NTSC DVDRs, and those are 90% exceptions/concerts/musicDVD.

It's supposed to be NORDIC only.

However, if you're talking about NTSC as in.. english subtitles, they all got it.

Thanks for all replies.

I am interested on either PAL or NTSC, provided the subs are not removed at least the English subs, in order to be able to see them with friends/family.

From what I have seen in general trackers the "NORDIC" releases have all the subs stripped out (except the NORDIC subs which are useless to me). Is this the case with SWEDVDR?

basically, most of the dvds on there are normal english dvds. they just have all subs included so nordic people can watch them.
there are some swedish tv series' and things without english subs but if you arent scandanavian i doubt youd wanna watch them anyway

hopefully that helped

I saw VERY few NTSC releases when I was there.
Maybe I'll buy a multiformat DVD player

Thanks for the responses. I love DVD-Rs, but PAL format is nearly useless to me because when burned I can't watch it on my TV.

If so many of SweDVDR's releases are in PAL I guess I should stick to other sites. Too bad. :(

you can convert pal to ntsc, but you loose the menu structure.

or buy a pioneer high-def dvd player, which plays almost everything

Thanks! I might just do that. Although, my monitor has MUCH higher definition than my TV. 1680x1050 compared to standard 4:3 TV.
