hey all,
tried emule, it sucked so i got this xtreme emule mod, still sucks!

i'm really trying to like this program since it has tons of rare files and many sources to download from. My problem is that every file i try to download either doesn't download or downloads EXTREMELY SLOWLY (i'm talkin 3kb/s).

I don't have a firewall and i'm not on a network. I've got a high I.D, i've passed the ports test, and other apps such as DC++ and mIRC download at blazing speeds.

I'm now trying to download a file with 242 sources and it hasn't even started yet (been waiting for 20 mins).

I've configured my upload and download speeds correctly in the config wizard and i'm sharing 20+gigs of files.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!

thanks

I tried it and it seems that the longer you are connected and sharing bandwidth, the better the speeds get. Has something to do with seedung/sharing points. Read about it in the FAQ

Takes some time, but try it.
