Activision has confirmed long-running rumours that Infinity Ward is working on a Call of Duty game in a contemporary setting.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be unveiled on Saturday in the US courtesy of a trailer to play during the NFL Draft on ESPN. That's when they pick the teams, genius.
Early rumours about Modern Warfare - which even got the name right - pointed to a game that takes you all over the world, with the player working for the US Army, US Marines and SAS in a battle against terrorists underpinning a Middle Eastern conflict.
There were lots more rumoured details last March, although how much of that still stands will be tough to answer before Saturday's reveal - and Sunday and Monday's inevitable reposting on YouTube and elsewhere.
