Hi all,
just receive a warning for admin staff of bitmetv saying that some torrent (especially a new one ) represent a security risk, we are warned not to use the same password in bitmetv than on other sites.
There isn't a bunch of well-known new site, RTS and SCN are the only one i know at the moment
Anyone knows what this is all about, there must be something underneath it for admin taking the time to warn users?
Thx!

Hmmm I got the same message.. thats Odd.. I wonder why they choose to leave out the name of this so-called new site! What is all that about? I'm sure they're not talking about RTS or SCN though.
We'll probably hear more on it soon.. keep an eye on the shoutbox there!

I think that if we don't use the same username on different trackers, then we are safe. But I have changed my bitmetv password anyways.

Their warning is not about security risk to the database on their site.. It is about the security risk on the new sites, something that WB was referring to the other day. I guess we would be safe if we have a different password on the new sites then. :)
Using different password is what you need on every new site, I'll just need to wait for a couple months then after that I'll consider those new site is safe :P
It's just for safety, better yet, using all different password in all place
Its always good to use a different password for each torrent site:)
