When you go to remote desktop connection enter in the ip address. It will take you to the login screen, then enter your info. I hope you bought a licence for windows otherwise you won't be able to login.

yep, and cheap too.. i got the 1st package from http://hosting-ie.com/content/view/29/66/

it has unlimited traffic, but it has a 20GB HDD, but its okay, i just seed for a few days and delete it off the server..

Isn't that for web hosting?

He's getting 4000 kb/s = 4 mb/s ---> 4 x 8 = 32MBits

yeah 4mb/s is not bad, but the download is not so good

speed tests are not very accurate on seedboxes.

they run burst speeds and the test file slows down a bunch.

You've got it completely backward. He's getting 4000 kilobits/s up, which means about 4mbit up. That's equal to 0.5 MB/s or 500 kilobytes/s.

Know what you're talking about before trying to correct someone. ;)

I am afraid you are wrong my friend
Speedtest.net gives you the results in KB/s and not Kbps

Considering the link he gave says 25GB web space I would assume it is web hosting.

actually and speedtest.net u can have it either way...kbps or kBps but the default is kbps

wrong
theres a difference between kb/s and kB/s
read his results, its kb/s, bits, not bytes.
work out the conversion urself here ("http://www.matisse.net/bitcalc/)

and although the site says its webspace, u can use the server however u wish.
hosting-i.e is 1 of the cheaper companies, and u get what u pay for.
dont trust stupid speed test sites though, they're never/rarely accurate.

err.. i get up to 4mb/s in utorrent.. i sometimes see higher than that.. depending on how many leechers.. the download speed is also higher.. speedtest is not very accurate as the file you download/upload is too small to actually determine how fast a server is.. some uploads and downloads may start off slow and gain speed later on..

but hey, that's my opinion..

p.s. its not a webhost.. i am using it as we speak for seeding purposes :)

haha what a douchebag

yeah, lower case b is bits, uppercase B is bytes
