i thought it was ok, but my sister thinks this movie is too sad for childern. does anyone else think this movie was to sad for kids?

Most children stories contain tragedy. (Brother Grimm stories horrendously so)
Happy feet is the Ugly Duckling story with environmental and cultural mix moral added on.
but yes it isn't the happiest "my little pony" world.
