Yeah
Once your DNS updates, you'll end up at the moved server

Wait, it says "Once your DNS updates, you'll end up at the moved server". Are they referring to our individual DNS? Do we have to wait for it to update itself automatically or can we do it manually?

(yeah, know nothing about DNS)

Edit: Got it working. Thanks.

It means your ISP's DNS as some have it cached as the old one which is **2.71.*02.91 when it should be going too **3.223.*53.140. (Where I have put * the number is the same as on the old IP address which you can find out by pinging FTN.)

If you are running windows and want to get round it temporarily you can do

Run -> C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts -> Open With TextPad (or Whatever) -> Add an Entry for FTN Using the New IP -> Save it.

Then when you go to FTN it should work.

I got this msg
Ping request could not find host ****. Please check the name and try again.

If you can't ping it yourself use dnsstuff.com to ping the site then do what I said with the hosts file.

or just ping the url and then put the ip you get back into browser.
until the normal url works that is

Ok, everything back to normal without having to do anything with my DNS!
