I like the atmosphere at ScN better. The whole Mafia thing looks like it could be a lot of fun in the future. Also love how it's so easy to build ratio there.

RTS had those DDos problems which halted the site a bit, and maybe that is affecting my answer a bit. Don't know really. Guess first impressions say a whole lot.

RTS is only a few weeks old.
SCN is probably a month old, but have only started opening their site recently.

Both have good torrents uploaded in recent times :)
User base is still quite small, we will have to wait and see which is the better tracker.

Where exactly were these awesome best layouts at cause I sure didnt see em. They were just solid colors when I looked. Maybe they added them since I deleted my account? I mean I know they have made a few modifications to their source code since then. So maybe they did layout changes as well.

I like the layout on SCN basic and easy to use.

As far as pre times. I didnt really notice them on either site.

You're making some assumptions there. The same thing happened to me even though I was invited because a friend was a staff member and was a VIP before I ever applied to be an uploader. I had my thesis and final exams the week they opened and lost my access to 0-sec stuff to upload, but they disabled me anyway rather than demoting me back to VIP or waiting a bit for me to have time. It's not my fault that they opened weeks after they initially had said they would. Their staff and policies are not very user-friendly. One of their SysOps actually only accepts PM's from those on his friends list, which isn't at all like the RTS Sysops, who are very friendly and helpful.
You can see where my vote goes. Sure, it's easier to get a good ratio at SCN--everything's 4x upload and free leech :lol: They're giving it away there, might as well be a news server.

I will say, I like SCN's "family" concept, although I find the forums on RTS more active, even when they only had ~100 users.

One thing that bugs me about RST is that they keep changing the invite policies.

What was wrong with those high upload demands or ask the staff if you think someone can contribute. Now it seems to me like it's extremely easy to get in.

My vote still goes to SCN where I feel more at home. And I like that it's just movies and TV unlike some others. It makes the site into something special and not just another 0-day site.

i was already a regular member before a long time, i got a seedbox and tried out to see if i could upload some stuff

then this sysop asshole comes out of nowhere and bans me after i tell him i can't upload 10 torrents a week

the idea here is that i could have just been demoted back to regular user

but anyway, no sense in crying over spilled milk

They are still both VERY good trackers. The number of torrents does not mean a better tracker, look at Bit Soup ;) The speed of the uploaders is a factor and both sites have awesome upload staff. I would say at this stage RTS is ahead by about umm 2 weeks. For the trackers to be so new they are AMAZING. IMO tanother factor is the staff, both sites have an awesome staff who are VERY friendly and Very helpful when needed. Oh and dude I don't know how long you've been doing this but most trackers have the same 5hit on them, hate to have to break the news. As long as they put the files together on one torrent they can name it whatever they like

Also I don't like recruiting of new members in the trading room . But that's my opinion, these sites aren't mine , the sysops may do anything they want . And I don't want to be a member of these sites , I'm pretty sure I can download any of their torrents from their original locations .

I almost agree entirely with jaqozo. I didn't like at all their requirements to register.

Not only that but I find them pointless, as I can show you client screenshot with upload speed more than 1mb/s, with only 2 minutes of image editing.

Nevertheless its their site and they can impose whatever they like, I am not personally a trackers' collector and therefore I do not need any more sites with scene content; I am full of those.

Just a point: to setup good scene tracker you need to have all kinds of connections, not only the fastest ones, you need balance.

even though rts opened doors 2 weeks ahead, they are almost even in members and torrents now. rts seems to have problems recruiting new members and sometimes i get problems entering the site. also rts had only few new uploads recently. i think speed is also better at scn. i guess we will just have to wait a little longer to tell which ones better but the mafia theme is something that really caught my attention, which makes me hit that page much more often than rts.

i wonder why rts irc is sooo damn quiet...another plus for scn!

Now having access to both, they both look promising.
I believe RTS revoked their initial member invites too early.
Most had not used/given away all of them, I had only used 3 for friends so far.
Give the first user base back their invites to get some more leechers before the site becomes less and less used due to no leechers to seed back to.

As for ScN, no complaints, great setup, initial userbase / incentives seem enough to get things rolling. Keep it up guys.
