I dont have Sct, but form the trackers i have i have to say TL is one of the best. Speeds are grate, content is amassing, pretime is good(can be better). And the ability to seed is huge.
As for Sct, ive heard that if you dont own a seedbox just forget about maintaining a good ratio. But like i said, just rumors so i dont know for sure.

My max 240KB/s downstream speed is easily covered on TL, I don't really care about brilliant Pre times as long as the movies get there within a reasonably amount of time. Also very easy to seed back even on older releases.

Not true. There are some content differences, but not many. But this is true of pretty much all comparisons of 2 different trackers. There will be a large overlap in content, but some unique on each site. Below is a pictorial representation.

sct is not P2L. Everyone has their own invented definition of p2l. p2l = obliged to pay smth in order to leech. Thats the case in Sct? Of course not. But when you really want to make someone look bad you can distort things .Usenet is P2L, not ScT. Something you do voluntarily is not P2L which the term itself has the meaning of smth you do forcefully

Really? You can get a lot more for less by doing usenet. The point is, it's the same concept. You pay and then you can leech. The other option is you upload, and then you can leach. Pay -> leech. Pay to Leech. Very simple to understand, I don't see anywhere in those 3 words anything relating to required pay. This goes back to the t-shirt concept. if I go to a store and buy a t-shirt, am I donating and getting a free t-shirt in exchange as a thank you? No.. I'm paying to purchase.

They dont need to enforce it. The speeds there are excellent even on old torrents. Any hit and running that is going on clearly isnt hurting the site.

On topic, Sct is way better than TL. It has better speeds, better pres, more torrents (last time i checked), no ads, more active forums, less idiots, less stupid rules and it's more secure. The contest isn't even close.

On ScT, I have to think twice before downloading a torrent, consider the number of seeders, its popularity etc., which kind of takes the fun away from torrenting. The combination of super fast seeders and ratio requirements in sites such as ScT creates a situation where normal members without seedboxes (and non-100mbit-sweds) have to resort to partial/complete downloading of torrents which they don't even need while on the other hand refrain from downloading torrents which they want (but know they can't seed back), a situation which I find completely absurd. I respect trackers where I don't have to worry about these things, and therefor my vote goes to TL.

In my opinion TL is better for common user who wants to download and upload back what was downloaded.

Not really true hasnainbk. ScT do quite regular "free leech" weeks and weekends. Allowing those of us with slower speeds the chance to up our ratios as whatever you seed is doubled and nothing counts down.

Well, since i only have TL my vote goes to them. But i don't like TL pre times, trackers like TB.ro and FunFile have a better pre times. But i love TL because of the time that torrents stay there, the number of peers, which makes easier to seed, the nice community and the avatar of steve :P

Definitely TL. It's way better. I don't care about pre times, or other shit. Speed is good at TL too.

TL pwnz when it comes to content. In ScT I can't found any music. They focuses on other torrents (Tv, movies, etc.), they have only these MP3 Packs which I don't like.

I really likr both of them. But i use TL more than ScT because they have so many peers and it is really easy to get a awsome ratio in there :)

TL is the choice of most because you can get there easier and the ratio is easier to mantain , on SCT if you dont jump on torrents the minute they appear then it will be harder to get a 1:1 ratio , and then you must seed for 5 days and most hate that and prefer to go on TL where there are many leechers and uploading is easy with almost any speed alotugh it doesnt have freeleech as SCT .

This goes to TL. ScT is better only for those who have fast home connections. Most of the ScT users have boxes and the main thing of bittorenting is forgot - get things FOR FREE. If you don't have good home connection it's no worth to join ScT because you can get all the same torrents on TL few minutes later and the speed is almoast the same and ratio isn't a problem.

I like TL better because I enjoy their TL exclusives quite a bit. That along with it being hella easy to seed at makes it better than SCT for me. SCT is still my number one source for packs though.

ScT is better in all ways exept one, it's harder to seed there. Just to explain some things, i have a 25/25 Fiber connection but it's very, very hard for me to seed the 0day stuffs. Let me put it this way, if they did not have free leech on their packs i would not be a member there.
