Well was planning to buy a Dell Inspiron E1405, but wasn't too sure which Mouse to buy to accompany it...

I don't need a fancy mouse or anything just an Optical/Laser with 3 buttons(left/right/scroll) and possibly a Battery Indicator/(on/off switch), as I don't really use a tilt wheel, back/forth buttons, search, that other fancy stuff.

So I thought I would ask around to see what might be a recommended mouse/ and possibly a site that has the better deal.

When I asked my friend first choice that popped up was the Logitech VX Revolution which is way too fancy for me, and best deal I found of that was I believe $29.99 at TigerDirect after a $20 Mail-In rebate.

So yeah I'd like to hear a few more suggestions, thank you.

Two that I have considered are:
-Logitech v200 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104197)
-Logitech v450 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16826104018)

I have a Logitech v200 for my notebook and it works great. The wireless USB stick that you plug into your computer is small and won't interfere with any of the other nearby usb ports. It's fast, smooth, and has the basic features.

The only thing about it is that the scroll wheel is a little hard to click, but it wears down so it's easier to push. The side scrolling works great.

Another good notebook mouse is the Microsoft BX3-00008 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105042). The only bad thing is that the USB is slightly bulky, but it's adjustable. With mice, there's not much you can go wrong with. As long as it works and easy to use.

Get the notebook version of the VX Revolution, you won't be sorry, I promise.

BTW-

The desktop version sucks, or so I've heard from several people; laggy and stuff.

No such problems with the other, though. :)
