is it just me or leeware speed really s*cks since a couple of days, it can go up to 1 MBps but i automatically drops back to about 10 KB/s and then goes up again and down again...
today i cannot get more than 300 KB/s at some peaks
anyway, i just cancelled it, i'm switching to a dedi server soon :)

You can blame SCT FreeLeech on that I think. It slowed the minute that started. I think the whole US is online now...
i had leeware and canceled it... i never saw speeds of over 2mbs up, and it crashed all the time...now im paying 10 dollars for a 20 gig hd, and unmetered bandwidth, this morning i saw speeds of 9mbps up :D :D :D

Leeware speeds haven't been good since before everyone and their mother at FST bought one :-p
Anyway, for the price (I'm at $15 a month on a 512mb plan), it's still worth it for me.
There are other options though at a slightly higher price range, like iHostVPS at $30, though they're in the same crappy datacenter as leeware, or Hosting-IE/Keyweb, though their lower plans pack so many virtual servers on each box that there is a major hard drive bottleneck.

I'm getting consistently 2.5MB/s down and 1,5MB/s up right now. I was lucky, I hit a popular torrent early ;)
