If you mean games like mmorpg. I would say Ultima Online. There are many free shards (worlds/servers). Ok WoW have much better graphics, but verrrry limited in comparaison to UO.

Silkroad was horrible. The quests are drawn out and VERY VERY VERY repetitive.

guys, about World of Warcraft a friend told me that after i buy the game it will work for a while and then i will have to buy cards every few months to play the game......is that true?

Battlefield 2.

Best integrated system that encourages teamwork and communication. Multi level gameplay from foot soldier to fighter pilot.

a little dated now but the gameplay rocks

You can not play online without a serial number but you can play offline without one.

You can play CS/CSS w/o a serial... if you wanna invest your time in finding out how :p easier to just buy a $10 key off ebay or CL

My vote goes for COD4 on 360 though
