Seems like the majority of dvdrs uploaded to trackers are in pal, this sucks. Any specific trackers that upload only ntsc or are mainly ntsc?

But also, even if you have a region-free DVD players, will the video show on the TV?
I'm not certain but I do recall something about NTSC TVs (or for instance, those made in the U.S.) not being able to display PAL video.

I have a Philips Divx/Xvid DVD player and it plays Pal just fine and the video is perfect on the TV. It converts Pal to NTSC.
However It's rather interesting how most trackers will have a lot more Pal DVDs than NTSC. I guess Demoniod is good if you are looking for NTSC DVDs. You can find there so many movies but it takes like 2 days to finish a download.

Well, the reason why most tracker have PAL DVDs rather than NTSC ones is probably because of the fact that PAL-DVDs have a better resolution than NTSC DVDs.

I think the main reason why most trackers have PAL DVDs is because most of them trackers are from outside the U.S. and based mostly in Europe...
NTSC: 720x480 Widescreen Aspect Ratio
PAL: 720x576 Widescreen Aspect Ratio
They're different because the Standard TV screen size in the U.S. and Europe are not the same.
It's like the f'n metric system. lol :D
