third part of the pirates - even they where not at the caribbean anymore, but it was not too bad ... but also not too good.

I would give it a 3

It looks funny can't wait to see it. From hear through the grapvine Depp and Rush are hilarious. Unfortunately though we still have to sit through Bloom and Knightley's crapola. Oh and how can I forget Bill Nighy and Chow Yung-Fat. Can't wait to see it. :D

I couldnt wait for this movie to end. Much like part 2. Found it extremely draggy and too much unnecessary scenes that made the movie that much longer. Some of the visuals are top notch especially the scene where the enemy english captain (i forget his name) had that defeated look while his ship was getting blown to bits literally (in a very detailed manner i might add).
The story however left a lot to be desired for IMO.

The first POC is still the only movie in this series worth watching.

Just another case of more isn't necessarily better. Quite literally in this case, as the scenes with the multiple Johnny Depps were completely superfluous and a little bit shite.

As DefianceX said there were some nice visuals though, shame they couldn't get the script to match.

Probably becuz most of the time, its just the studios' effort to extract as much money from the franchise as possible.
