T3cKan you can try this public server -> ftp.ibiblio.org there's some decent stuff on there, at the least you can get a feel for things and snoop around.

Ipswich 2007 pro... but since Barbarossa suggested the free firefox ftp plug-in..I have been trying that too and I must say that it's great. The interface is logical and easy to use, (even for a noob like me) and to understand.

Eh, even if you stumbled upon some l33t username and password, axx accounts are restricted to work from certain IPs.

If you ask on a public forum for FTP, you're going to get some shit public FTP. Keep that in mind.
