is there a spyware software that can scan external hdds? like i pull my main hdd out and put it in an enclosure and stick into another computer.

also, anyone know how to fix the windows log-in log out problem? like it loads windows welcome screen, logs in, then logs right out. won't let me log in to windows.

what i do to scan external hdds is to connect it to a computer with anti-virus and manually set it (each one may vary) to scan the external drive. It usually detects it.

As for the windows log-in log out problem, I've had that problem when my version of windows wasn't genuine. It usually has a pop-up that accompanies it. If not, i'm not sure what the problem is, but I'm sure it's on google somewhere.

Can't you hook it up to a PC, and then do a custom scan on the drive?
