Anyone else in here a Cub's fan?
I thought we could identify ourselves and cry on each others shoulders.
Or just complain.

I've got the picture of Alou slamming his glove against his thigh after "the incident". Bartman didn't do anything anybody else wouldn't have done.
I was pissed at the time.
I had numbers on paper on my wall and was taking them down as a countdown to The Series.
1945 was the last time the cubs were in the World Series but it's been since
1908 that they've won. The cubs were a dominant team back in the day.
That damned Goat!!!!!!
Now you've made me cry DefianceX:(

Wood and Prior both signed one year deals this year which I took as a plane ticket for both for next year.
It's May and I'm thinking next year already!
The only good thing is they are in the worst division in MLB.
As of today they are only 5 games out.
They have a big series against Mil. coming up in June.

I've been a cubs fan since I was old enough to cheer for Ryne Sandberg and Ron Cey...early 80's. It has only been easier because I've been able to laugh at how pathetic they are sometimes...oh well:frusty:

I would imagine any number of people consider small bears to be very cute; I know the world goes nuts whenever pandas reproduce...:whistling

Perhaps the baseball and football teams should switch mascots for a season?
Urlacher playing 1st base....hmmmm. Na..he'd be the catcher.
I'd bet not too many would barrel into home....no?

Big bald head charging at you!
You'd almost rather get the spikes.

I'd just fire it at his head one time. Maybe he'd think twice about coming at you again.
Reminded me of Blazing Saddles when the sheriff(black guy, don't know his name) is getting his gun and Gene Wilder says.."Don't shoot him(Mongo)...you'll only make him mad."

Keep in mind that Zambrano flips out if he throws a bad pitch.
Barrett is a stubborn SOB as well.
At least somebody in that Damned dugout is getting fired up.
I actually think it will be a positive for the Cubs.

Sweet lou doesnt seem to think so. Man, that was a bad day for them all around yesterday. Dropped pop ups, errant throws, etc. This is gonna be a long year for you bro. And Soriano off to a slow start doesn't help either.

Come the 1st of April it's a long year for me.
These guys have got some shit in their heads they need to get rid of fast.
I'm hoping come the heat of summer the bats start heating up too.
By that time it may be too late.

I'm waiting for Soriano to pull a hammy or something.
There's no way he's playing the whole year in a cubs uniform without getting hurt.
At least I have Da Bears.
