Crossover gigalan help plz

i have two computers i wanna connect directly with 1000mbps (not 100)
i have 2 gigalan cards to connect them directly (no router or switch)
but i only connect at 10/100, whats wrong?

well, you probably only have a cat5 cable. Cat 5 is limited to 100mbps. In order to reach 1gbps, you need a cat6 cable (they look exactly alike).

i just checked the cable, its cat6 lol (how lucky)
still 10/100 :\

hmm, well, you might want to try to update drivers and firmware on both cards. Otherwise I don't know
