uTorrent issue

Hi, I have a question about torrent seeding. I`ve downloaded one torrent and want to seed it now, however upload speed is almost zero. Here is the screenshot of my uTorrent:

I`m concerned about that zero in seeding field. Can you explain to me what those numbers (before round brackets) mean? Thank you:)

thts coz u have downloaded the whole torrent and u dont need to connect to any seeders

0 (30) 3 (31)

the zero before the 30 means your not getting anything from seeders because you have 100% of the torrent


the three means you're connected to 3 peers because you've got 100% of the torrent.


so youre only sharing to 3 peers out of a possible 31.

I have one more question:

Is it possible to increase the number of peers who are connected to me? Or this number is determined by torrent site (tracker) only? ...taking into account that I increased № of upload slots and incoming connections to 100-150.

If your behind a router or firewall it would be better to make yourself connectable. Thats basically one of the major things you could do to connect to more peers.

It is not really able to have more peers connect to you, such as, if there settings only allow to connect to 5 seeds, or if they're partial seeders.

u can check in the settings of utorrent. there is something like - max number of links per torrent................u can increase it to whtever u think is ok for you
