What do you need it to do?

Don't see an OS listed, assume it comes with something preloaded?

comes with nothing preloaded, no screen either.

primarily needed for EA games like FIFA etc., then also IM software, internet, etc..

OS isn't a biggy (filesharing ;) ), got some unused screens here too..

for an extra 40 bucks can get a 3GHz processor instead of the 2.6 one (3 one is also dual core).

What do you think?

I'd say build it yourself & get the best parts. For the same $.

You're not going to get the "best parts" for that price. It's just as cheap
to buy it...as it would be to build it. I don't think Tralalala is into building
his own machine. (the nature of his question, and all)

It's a fair price for what you're getting...I would buy a dedicated video
and sound card since your planning on using it for gaming.
(make sure it's "lite" gaming :dabs:)
