how to add subs to a movie file

hi, :)
just wanted to see if any one can help me out i just download today the movie apocalypto but the movie is not in english so i and trying to find out how to add the english subs that came with the movie folder to the movie befor i convert the movie to dvd format

Both Add subs
Both convert to DVD

Just remember to name the subs(SRT file)Exactly the same as the movie
ie:
The Greatest Movie Ever.avi
The Greatest Movie Ever.srt

Sudden i am useing convertxtodvd i just named the movie file that i am trying to convert with subs apoc.avi and the sub file apoc.srt and i drag the movie and the sub file into the convertxtodvd but all i am seeing there is the movie file not the subs file :cry: it said subtitle stream 0 and internal 0 external 0

1-Put apoc.avi & apoc.srt in the same folder
2-Open convertxtodvd
3-Go to file(top left hand corner)
4-Click add video file a box will open up
select the folder with the movie & sub in, then click open,
it will then Automaticaly load
5-press convert
