Quick background for the pros here....
Recently I have been getting intermitent drops from my internet connection. I had my PC hardwired via cat5 from my router. When the connection loss occurs, I lose all connections including wireless network and hardwired 360 for XBL. I called the cable company and they stated several "t3" errors which would imply my modem was having issues.
I tried several things including purchasing a new modem and bypassing the router. When it drops it is only for a few seconds and I get unable to resolve DNS errors. I have tried to see if it was my antivirus (Nod32) and tried to see if it was software conflict with UT,Messenger, Mirc along with internet browsing. I have tried everything and I am still getting the drops. Cable company swears it is on my end and I have checked everything with no answer to the problem.
Can you guys give me any suggestions on some things I should check. It is not router related as I am now connected directly to my "New" cable modem. It is also not consistant when it drops. Seems to be random.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
