I'm averaging about 200 kb/s download. Doesn't seem to matter which port I use. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm having the same problems. :blink:

I usually get 700-800 kB/s, but the past two days I'm getting closer to 60. :unsure:

Are you with roadrunner too? I sent an inquiry to newshosting and they responded;

"There is a known issue with RoadRunner tonight. (Please try
port 7000 for this issue.)

If the standard ports don't help give ports 7000, 8000, and 9000 a try.
They force your packets to a particular route which will help if it's a
routing issue from our network to your ISP."

I tried 7000 and I'm back up to speed :yup: Hope this helps you too.

I am also having problem with Roadrunner/newshosting. Port 7000 gave me nothing. I was able to increase the number of connections and that is giving me higher overall bandwidth.

i'm glad to hear that i'm not the only one experiencing this, i was just about to post a topic about this. but... when i switched to 7000 it did nothing, it didn't download at all. hmmmm....

tried 7000, 8000, and 9000 and i even tried forwarding them through my router, but to no avail :( i hope they fix this soon cuz i don't want to wait 6 hours to download one dvd.

Working fine for me today, and I'm actually getting faster speeds than ever. 700-800kbs where before I was normally around 600kbs
