View Full Version : Banned From Bitmetv???

I was a member at bitmetv for about a month then a few days ago i went to logon but my account had been disabled and I can't find out why:

My ratio was above 1
I never had any invites so didn't invite any cheaters
I didn't upload anything so didn't break any rules there
I didn't trade to get my account
I was using a static ip
I had the latest version of utorrent
I didn't use a proxy server
I visited the site about 3-4 times a week so I wasn't inactive

I'm baffled as to why this happened and have never been banned from anywhere before.

I tried to to their IRC channel but kept getting errors.

Does anyone here have the ability to find out why I got banned??

My username was a1anm.

it kept saying that i needed a voice, after trying a few times it eventually banned me as well

You're talking about the #bitmetv-help channel right?

Yeah that channel is moderated. Means you do need a voice (+v). Just idle for a little while there and someone should attend to you and give you your voice.

They probably kicked you (i doubt they banned u from the channel) because u didnt respond right away when one of them was available for assistance. Yes they can be asses that way. Whatr u gonn do.

In order to save your account you must have 1750mb downloaded every month. Read rules.

I had just downloaded an episode of the Sopranos a few days prior so I don't think this would've been the reason.

Yeah, thanks for the great suggestion. The only thing is I never posted in their forum. Maybe they saw that I posted in the wrong forum here and banned me for that.:rolleyes:

which is like 1 or 2 shows a month. I feel thats resonable :)

well, I haven't downloaded anything the last few months, and my account hasn't been disabled.

I think that probably there was a scammer or trader on your tree. They have wiped out a lot of trees lately, punishing even innocent people, because they have been invited by someone who has also invited a trader or cheater.

Choose carefully who you invite and by who you have been invited...
I was invited by a bitmeTV mod and I am extremely carefull with my invitees.
