Mouse Problems

Microsoft Desktop 6000 is the new mouse and keyboard set i bought but sometimes when i double click nothhin happens and then it starts again, oh and this in on a fesh copy of windows xp w/o updates

"And then it starts again" what starts again? Thats got to be one of the strangest descriptions of a problem I've heard in a long time. Did you install the software that came with it? You know there's a place to set your double click sensitivity in the control panel > mouse section right?

its ok thanx i sorted it out, i had my wireless recieiver for the desktop a bit far away from the mouse...it works fine now :)
