There is 4 actually if u count Manhunter as that is supposed to be the beginning of Hannibal Lector. I have never seen it.

Manhunter is based on Red Dragon.

Manhunter was based on The Red Dragon novel but not the film apparently, so basically the names of the films should be : Red Dragon (Manhunter 1986)
Red Dragon 2 (2002)
Silence Of The Lambs (1991)
Hannibal (2000/01)
Is that correct?

Red Dragon follows Man Hunter big time, but the endings are different.

Anthony Hopkins isn't in that one.

Brian Cox plays Lector in Manhunter.
