June 12, 2007 is on schedule for Microsoft's "Patch Tuesday"--the second Tuesday of each month--where they release security and general updates for their products.

The corporate software giant plans to release six security updates with four rated as 'critical' and two as 'important/moderate.' Mark Griesi, Security Product Manager at Microsoft, announces that "This month, we’re planning to release six security bulletins: four Microsoft Security Bulletins affecting Microsoft Windows with a Maximum Severity rating of Critical, one Microsoft Security Bulletins affecting Microsoft Office with a Maximum Severity rating of Important and one Microsoft Security Bulletin affecting Microsoft Windows with a Maximum Severity rating of Moderate."

Specifically the products include: Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Office application suite (particularly Microsoft Visio).

Griesi also noted that there are seven high-priority/non-security updates that are planned for release on Microsoft Update as well as an update to the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool.

As you should know, all the information is subject to change until Tuesday's release.
