I got from 60gb buffer to 1TB+ during FL. Donīt care that the FL is over now, as now I have buffer for a lifetime :)

The same happend at xmas i think, they said it was turned off then after an hour or so it was turned off for real. Something like that maybe I'm not sure.

What I also wanna know is why people care that it is on, FL DLing on a site like ScT[10] should not be taken for granted they would have let this go on for a lot longer I think.

Hehe, I was one of the lucky ones.. I didn't really even ask for an invite, and 2 people just asked me if I wanted one. I said no because I heard it was hard to seed, but I got it anyways after a day or so after hearing there was a free leech.
Now the lucky part.. after trying it once, the tracker was full with the 15000 people or whatever. After trying it the second time.. like 10 minutes after, I got in! :O
I know a person who couldn't get in with the invite for like 2 weeks.
Thats the BCC for you huh.?
I dont ever think Ive heard of someone refusing a lvl8 invite.
And not just that, getting it anyways.

The main gripe here is that the freeleech's destiny was entirely in control by the members. As long as the irc users didn't drop below 1000, freeleech would remain intact, unless of course otherwise determined by the sct mods.
So you see, it's not that we GOT 4 weeks of free leech, it's just that we had potential to maintain free leech for an extended period of time if people just took the couple of minutes to get on mirc and leave it running.
But apparently, that is way too much to ask for. As made evident by the proceeding comment:

Edit: Did see who you were talking to but anyways, that has nothing to do with it. I dont use the better sites that often but some times they just have some good shit that you gotta DL, and speeds are faster.

What are you talking about pre-times and rarity have nothing to do with it.
because he already had torrentleech, which provided him al the content he needed (probably)
so what's the difference between torentleech the the other two, basically pretimes and rarity (don't start about the packs...)

Because they've both got tremendous speed, as well as free leech torrents :yup:
lets just say its several TBs
around 300GB buffer for me during this FL.
Not bad I guess.

you can leech whatever you want when you have a huge buffer, the only thing to think about is hit and runs so you keep it seeding long enough even with no upload and you are all good...
the only site that i know where buffering is useless is blackcats-games cuz you always have to seed back each torrent to 80% with their seed point system

I'm just very happy that they had free leech. Now I can download this 28GB pack I want without worrying that there are lots of seeds and almost no leechers on it.
O'll just seed it for the next few months helping my ratio even more :)
