Alcohol 120%I don't think he ONLY wants to burn images ;)

I use nero, but I have also used deep burner and roxio. deepburner is good for the basics, nero does everything under the sun, and roxio is in between.

Try "Cheetah".. compact, burns everything, even works
great with Vista. GUI looks like Nero. Been using for 3 weeks now with no problems.

Buy better media.
Honestly, I've had burns fail with Nero, ImgBurn, UltraISO, Alcohol & CloneCD/DVD and it always comes down to media.

Install DVDInfoPro and ImgBurn, burn an image with verify turned on, then click the button to view DVDInfoPro's performance graph. Hopefully you'll see nice smooth plots but with cheap media it's likely you'll see the verify plots dropping off in places. If the drive that burned the data is having trouble reading the data back immediately then media quality is suspect and standalone equipment (DVD player, in car CD player etc) is likely to choke on it.

Don't put too much faith in Nero's verification. If the media is poor and Nero has trouble verifying but does so eventually after slowing to 1x speed or reading multiple times, then it still passes for a good burn even though future data extraction from that burn is likely to be a problem.

Go back and check some of your previous successful burns on the media you're currently using and try to rip the items back to HD. Poor media often fails even though it appears to be a good burn (DVD plays in standalone, audio CD plays in car etc).

The solution is to not install the extras you don't want.... particularly that bloody NeroHome crap and association-grabbing media player thing. bleurgh!

Nero's good, though if u want something lighter i'd say use an image program that can also burn lyk alchool 120 or isobuster. addmitly image programs are a li'l harder to use but there tons cheap and light for the system

OK I think we get the picture so you can stop spamming with one line incomplete sentences now.

Please post informatively. That means if you're going to say you think Nero is great, tell us why!
If you can't manage that, stay quiet.

I Had Nero for long time but since it add some new software the installation is very buggy-->Stuck with no reason
Also her mini added softwares were made them selfs as default although i asked not, and also the software blocks a lot of stuff, I tried install software which apparently nero blocked it from being installed....
So I Had to remove her....

I found nero to have too many problems as pazsh said too buggy. So about a year ago I switched to Roxio. Seems to do the trick for me haven't had a single issue and it does everything a burning program should would highly recommend it.

Nero 7 premium. The latest version ( I can't find the "about" box :whistling ). I installed only Nero Express and Nero Burning ROM, and left out all the other sh*t. I had no bugs this way :D

Nero sux. Alcohol 120% rox.I use both.

Use Alcohol 120% for images and discs that you want to copy that you can't copy in Nero and use Nero for music, video, and data discs.
