Well my system is gettin pretty old and i don't think i can buy a new computer for a while so i need a new video card that i'll be able to use to the max capacity that won't bottle neck because of shitty computer.

My specs are as follows:

Athlon XP 2600+ Mobile OCed to 2.2GHz (3200)
ABIT "NF7-S" nForce2
1024MB Corsair XMS DDR PC3200
Thermaltake W0014 Silent Purepower 480W

i think i can OC my processor to 2.3 or 2.4GHz but i doubt it'll make a difference.

We all love VB...man.

I wouldn't bother investing any more money in an AGP card for that platform.
The 6600 is hardly bottom of the line and your setup is rapidly approaching obsolescence- just ride her till she drops and get a new one.
