Peavey 5150 combo,
added handles on both ends, has "broken" my back twice,
im no body-builder and that amp its too heavy
for me to carrie around alone, hence them handles.
I like the sound of it and it has the gain i need for heavier riffin',
i never liked any distortion pedal,
the gain has to come from the amp me thinks.

Fender Bassman the Blonde,
its the coolest sounding amp i know this far,
i use it together with my Roland Re-201 Tape Echo
and Gretsch 6120-SSL.

I got Metaltronix M1000, i dont use it much tho, it dont has the bass i like.
Sounds bit too thin for me.

I have also Ibanez TS-808 overdrive, Digithech Whammypedal, Boss Flanger,
MXR Phase-90, Zoom 9010 rack-type multi-effect.
Im running on my third Jimi Hendrix Dunlop Wah, they keep
braking after some years, the tone pot starts giving some unwanted squealches. :P
Got DOD death-metal distortion pedal for my 30th. birthday some years back,
really funny pedal, instead of having controls like Gain, Tone and Volume etc,
it stands Rip, Guts and Pain etc. Useless pedal for me, there is no
pot for adjusting the gain level, its on 10 all the time.
If you play full chord you cant hear if its minor or major..
I dont know anyone who really uses that pedal.

If i had more money, i'd get me The Evintide, Mesa-Boogies, Fender Twin (old)
and more Guitars  One can never have too much gear ! !

I saw Line6 Vetta with the pedal some days back, didnt have time to play around
with it but i think if it does good simulations of other amps, I would like to own one.
Its extremely good variety of different amps and effects in 1 box,
the Price is pretty hefty though...

Cheers:

Ciao Guitar-Slinger,
I own a 5150 II head with a 4x12 Sheffield 5150 Straight ( heavy !! ) and I can tell for sure that using the POD xt that archiemason mentioned works GREAT !

The Vetta is really good, but I still prefer the 5150+Pod xt combination: A W E S O M E :P

Fantastic effects and warm valve tubs sound...I love it ! B)

Hope this helps & have a nice day :)
