does anyone know how to delete files off of a leeware box..?? i need to free up some space.. but don't know how... :unsure:

use winscp to delete your files

or you can do it through the FTP client (but don't use filezilla if there are more than 100, it is inefficient with sftp)

rm thenameofthefile
rmdir thenameofthedirectory
rm -r thenameofthedirectory (this delete the directory and the files)

way cool guyz.. thanks... now, have a bunch of stuf in the trashbin on my box.. lol... i can bring up a browse tree and see them(just cant remove'em from there)... but i cant find the TB in my ftp windows.... any ideas?

What's location of Trash in WinSCP?

If you want to know the location of trash in leeware, there is a trash folder when you login through SFTP to your VPS. Go to /root/.local/share/trash after logging in.

Or...instead of deleting the torrent when you finished, select delete data + torrent.

i just use the webui to delete the torrents.

Thanks. That confirms my checking that doing exactly that removes all data outright.
Good to know, I though I was getting some funny df info returned.
In fact, I was just reading it wrong.. :pinch:
