I PM'd staff at FinBytes to ask for their permission to review their tracker. And was greeted with this friendly response when I tried to login:

LOL

Like the old saying goes...

"It is better to ask forgiveness than permission"

Hahahaha. I can see them doing that. Reviews encourage account and invite trading. Why would you even ask that?

I like to ask before I do a review, also many sysops have been kind and provided me with info and a quote to include in the reviews. Reviews may encourage trading etc here...But not where I post em that's for sure....

Because the site I review them for is compliant with tracker rules and I won't do so without the sysop or staff's permission. Also sysops are members too....and they often provide quote's for the reviews....:)

Man, thats unheard of....
A simple no would have sufficed.

You showed them the respect the tracker needed by asking permission, They could just have said "no, the tracker is no looking for publicity" of what ever. Banning you when you are so kind to actually ask before you write it. Cant see the logic in that.

Personally i have never traded an account in my life and i will never do it. But i do use the reviews to figure out what trackers i want and dont want.
I have accepted invites based on them, and also said no thanks to trackers that dont seem to have anything im interested in.

I'm sure somewhere, someone is saying that about FB staff too. Doesn't mean they're not banhappy.

FB is very security concious so I can see where they would not want the exposure.

Exposure??? I don't see how it would particularly constitute exposure??
