Try Richard Matheson.

You know there's a book section, right?

Try 'The Amityville horror'

I slept with the lights on for about a week after reading it :fear:

It's well fucking scary

I did the same after reading the actual events of what happened. My bro wanted to borrow it but the lil arse is scared of anything n everything, and he is also too lazy to read. I tend to keep all my scary books hidden away, just incase I'm tempted to pick them up again. :pinch:

-----

1. Nathaniel - John Saul (I used to live in a barn)
2. The Magic Cottage - James Herbert
3. Needful Things - Stephen King

Not really ghosty stories, but they scared the beejus out of me at some point or t'other. :ermm:
