I remember a while ago, I had visited a site which just like a web-based Google earth which could be accessed through the web browser. The url contained the world 'pedia' and you could mark locations on the maps. You could also zoom in and out just like Google Earth. Can anyone tell me which site was that?

I don't know, but it sounds a bit like FlashEarth (http://www.flashearth.com/)

No, it wasn't this one. I am sure that the URL contained the word 'pedia' in it.

Edit: I found it at last. Actually, the URL contained the word 'wiki', not 'pedia'. The website is http://www.wikimapia.org/

That's a funny mistake to make.

Anyway, is that site just Google Maps but in fullscreen? That's awesome. :D

Yes, you can say that.
