I was watching a program on TV yesterday, about a 1993 railway accident on a bridge over Big Bayou Canot near Mobile, Alabama.

Basically, a barge hit and distorted the middle span of the bridge. A few moments later the Sunset Limited express hit the distorted span, which resulted in part of the bridge (and part of the train) crashing into the river. 47 people died.
However, the bridge was repaired in a few weeks.

I didn't understand part of the program, so I thought a look at a map might help with the explanation. Here's what I found:

Spooky! :yikes:

Spooky indeed!

Looks like the bridge is going into a portal of a space/time rift.

Go drive over it and see what happens. Remember to post back your findings.

That's impossible. That movie has already been made. If you had said IV, well

The bridge is actually intact and in daily use.

It's just weird that the only apparent distortion on that picture is where the bridge collapsed.

That crash was staged on National Geographic documentary on Dutch TV , and it was terrifying ..now this, a sort psychic imprint .

You wont believe what I just heard on the T.V at this very moment... " A collision with a freight train..." in a film.....

This is giving me a cold feeling, running down my neck... :O

Ya spooky.
The reason it's like that though is because the picture goes from high def on the left to low def on the right. That's why everything to the right is blurry and dark. :P
Spooky that it would happen in that exact place though...maybe intentional?

Probably be a new report "Man crashes into high speed train whilst testing Lounge Theory".

Seeing as its just a railway bridge driving on it would definitely be hazardous to his health.

@ Jimbo,:D bet only people from Lonson/the SE will get that.

That's because you haven't enough posts yet to find "ďt" that spooky; you need at least 100...

That is weird, but there's alot of it about in that area.

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=30.81715,-87.993421&spn=0.001184,0.001824&t=k&z=19&om=1

Looks like some of the aerial photo coordinates were not as accurate as they could have been...

Can we expect more accidents where Google goes from high to low definition, that's the question...
