any1 give some tips on seeding?

hi, recently bought a seedbox, but im having real problems seeding on sites like oink, trancetraffic, and esp. sct! i have tried everything, organizing torrents by seeders, and pick the ones with highest leechers and lowest seeder, with partial seeding, i.e. only download some RAR/tracks from albums/movies/packs.

but for some reason the speed is always low or only high for a short amount of time. however on swedvdr, fb, ftn etc... im getting sick speeds with the same method...

does any1 have any ideas on seeding at TT, oink, sct at all? any would be appreciated! thanks!

I don't know about TT or ScT but on OiNK it's pretty hard to upload at max speeds if you have a seedbox/decent upload. Just keep the torrents running and hope for the best, this is what I've gotten in three weeks with a max up of 60kb/s.

As you can see I haven't even gone into 1GB of downloaded yet and managed almost 10GB upload. Just keep the torrents running is the best advice anyone can give.

On TT try to grab really popular files really quickly and then just let them seed.

On oink, you have to watch out for old torrents that have alot of leechers and low seeders, because those ppl are most likely partial seeding.

Oink is a bit tougher to get your ratio up on because typically the torrents aren't very large 50-200mb average. With the speeds there, the torrents fly by and just don't give you a whole lot of actual upload time.

Watch for new releases (F5F5F5F5F5F5) and jump on the ones you 'think' will be popular.

there was a very generous guy that gave me 24 hours access to his leeware, and i seeded around 10gb on my friend's TT account.
my advice, use c4c addon and or rss to jump on files as soon as they're uploaded, flac is also a great idea :D

i have no idea cause as i mentioned it wasnt my seedbox..
c4c is a firefox addon that u could just install at home and check when torrents are uploaded to TT, about rss just wait for someone who uses torrentflux to tell u:happy:

Do not download this entire torrent in hopes of seeding it to the hundreds of leechers that you think exist. Most, if not all of those leechers are just seeding the portion which they grabbed. The seeder-to-leecher ratio on this torrent is a false positive and has gotten many a member in trouble with their ratio and has cost most of them their account here. - jiGGafellz

In other words, assume that you won't upload anything (or very little at most) on this torrent, and leave it alone unless you have enough upload buffer to take the hit. -xerya

Hi... I like to upload torrents when I can but my upload speed SUCKS!!! Here's what a speed test tells me:

I have downloaded as fast as 600 ish... but never can upload faster than 50 ish using uTorrent :(

From that picture, is that all I SHOULD be able to upload or is there a way to boost it???? It's SO slow :(

Yeah its the same one but its been repacked and reupped numerous times with small changes.

Oink, we disscused it several times how to build good ratio.Uppload your own music, apps, comics.
TT, hit new popular torrents.
SCT it's hard if you don't have box, porn is usually good for boost.

Download only scene rls very fast and a couple of large popular torrents, it should fix your problem! To upload torrents are very good to build your ratio fast.

Look for apps only, download from TL or usenet, and just seed them, (never download anything from the site you want to seed to) I can get 5GB a day easy.
