Chip Monk

Actually I never watch it either. However I just remembered he was retiring and thought last programme guests would be an interesting thread. Fuck you fuckin' cunts if you disagree.

You have gone down in my estimation for the spice girls thing.

Jeremy Clarkson
The Mighty Boosh
George Bush.

I love Parky. He's one of the great stalwarts of TV today. Him and Nick Ross in the same year. It'll be all hotpants and hairdonts from here on in. You mark my words.

Yeah but an interesting cunt knob jockey cunt.

I find his books (including the collections of newspaper articles) quite readable.

I find his books (including the collections of newspaper articles) quite readable.

Is it because he has a limited vocabulary and an endless repertoire of self-clichéing one-liners.

Fromagepas

No, it's because I find them entertaining and informative.

Tho' if you find writing which has "... a limited vocabulary and an endless repertoire of self-clichéing one-liners" quite readable that's a matter for you.

Oh wait. I just spotted the irony of my other post, with my avatar and all. Very clever, touché.

Did you know they put new users on moderation for their first post now?

Coelacanth

Anyways, on topic. I'm quite surprised Parky has stayed on weekly television so long, with his degenerative disorder and all.

Yes I did, and I'm not overly happy about it. It's some bittorrent-related cuntery, that people are using multiple accounts to boost their trading-rep, etc.

I do not understand. Why does moderating someone's first post make it harder for them to use multiple accounts?

Barbarossa

What the fuck are you talking about?

Ohhhhhhh, I think I know what you're getting at.

If you're a n00b, there's a much more stricter content-filter, mainly to ensure you're not just here to sell iPods, trainers or child slavery.

Any posts which do not pass the stricter word-filter get moderated. :idunno:

This is nothing to do with buttorrent trading. I thought you meant the people who were put on disabled privileges after their first post, because skizo checks their IP addresses against existing buttorrent trader accounts.

Chip Monk

Don't they just use proxies to confound his ubber l337 reading skills.

And also what if their ISP uses proxies, can you see beyond that. I know NTL (Virgin) use them.

Barbarossa
07-09-2007, 01:31 PM
All good points

He did once almost ban the whole of Scotland before he learnt a bit more about ISPs who use dynamic IP addresses :whistling
