Question about Oink

I invited a friend recently who had lost his account due to inviting an asshole cheater (yes I guess they're banning for that now), he changed his IP and used a different email, and still the Oink staff caught him and banned his new account. I ended up losing my invites but it doesn't say I can no longer invite people, does this mean I'll be able to get invites again or are my privileges gone for good?

Next time, tell your friend to clear his cookies as well, or he'll end up screwing over someone else as well. :dry:

He did clear cookies, took basically every safety precaution there was. Which is why I wonder how they found out.

Maybe he left some torrents running? Didn't clear all the cookies? Username/password was too similar to the old one? Traded publically and got ratted out to Oink staff? Maybe he cheated?

Lots of possibilities,they're not psychic. He obviously messed up somewhere.

use different email for the invite
clear cookies

How about adding - ask some of your friends to register one for you and then just sneak in there undercover? :)

i traded for an invite on this board after i got banned on my 2nd acc (traded the 1st, attempted to trade the 2nd)

I got the invite, 2 hours later I was disabled. I worked things out with my inviter. Then I traded for an account. Glad to say that one is still perfectly running ;)
