Eytan: It is a well know phenomena that there is very risky to offer FTN here, as many people have got their accounts disabled after posting here.
How could you have missed that?
Always sad to see an acc go down the drain, therefore I just encouraged the thread starter to be carefull, and not use same IP here as FTN etc etc

I have no idea, but in every FTN trade I´ve seen people have been talking about not having same ip here as FTN.
So, I am only quoting what trusted traders said in other posts.

I believe that the people who get caught - just ain't smart enough but there's lots of those who made a successful trade for FTN you just don't hear about. Like a hacking thing :) Well known hacker its the one you know nothing about :lol:

Image (1X1 pixel size for example...) generated with php and hosted at your own server... You sent the user a PM and when he reads the message (and his browser loads the image) you have his IP... If you are a bit experienced with php you can see if connects through a proxy or not...

The rules are "Only invite people you trust". Hard to say that you really trust the person you invite if you give away an invite to a stranger.

But with that it doesn´t mean the topic starter don´t know the person he invites. He could find a really trusty member in this thread, and then it should be ok.
