:( After d/l SVCD's from BT,I have had to convert them to Mpegs using VCDGear and then re-encode with Tmpgenc to make VCD's that play on my DVD player.
All is well apart from the sound is ever so slightly out of sync.
 Any suggestions anyone??

Maybe just slow down your encode speed. I'm pretty knew too but I haven't had that problem, YET. Also I use EAZY VCD that might help don't know for sure but if you get it figured post back and tell us what the problem was and how you fixed it.

u will need to open the file in virtual dub (the enocoded mpeg from tempgnce)

Then alter the sound calibration that way, u can ajust it from milliseconds to seconds, it will take some tweaking tho. then save the audio stream and use that, u will need to rencode the mpeg again using that audio stream, i know it will take hours but there is no other way

I have never had to use it but i think the answer is in tmpgenc in the wizard on pg 3 of 5 select the option "source range" it says here you can correct the gap between video and audio..looks like it may have to reencode though...lol <_<
